The tallest of our wood-based ivory figurines, this beautifully carved piece stands 92 mm tall on its own and a commanding 114 mm when displayed on its accompanying wood plinth. Carved from warm Angel Skin ivory with the precision and artistry of a skilled craftsman, it has a slender, graceful profile that draws the eye upward, its surface smooth and luminous with the gentle patina of age. At 42.8 g it is lighter than its companions, the ivory worked into a more delicate form that rewards close inspection. Pristine condition — no chips, no cracks — a graceful and collectible piece of antique ivory carving.
