Each bead has been individually handcarved from genuine natural Baltic egg yolk amber, displaying the deep, warm golden colour that is the hallmark of the finest Baltic amber. Rosaries of this age and quality are extraordinarily rare — a testament to both the durability of genuine Baltic amber and the exceptional care with which this piece has been preserved.
The generously sized beads — ranging from 18 × 12 mm to 19 × 12 mm, with a centrepiece bead of 24 × 12 mm — create a rosary of real presence at 35 cm. At 56 grams, it has a deeply satisfying weight. In very good condition for its age — free of chips or cracks.
