Art Nouveau Silver Hinged Bangle with Hand Motif, c. 1900

An ornamental hinged silver bangle with a distinctive hand motif across the front fastening. Rope-like borders and horizontal twisted-wire detailing frame two rows of raised, faceted silver-coloured accents. Darkened recesses and warm-toned surface patina give the decoration a strong contrast.

Attributed by the owner to the Art Nouveau period, circa 1900, this bracelet combines a simple curved band with intricate surface ornament. The small sculpted hand, decorated cuff, and round bird-motif detail make the fastening a focal point.
