A 19th century Orange coral necklace of impressive scale and exceptional weight — 74.8 grams of handcarved beads graduating from a delicate 4.5 × 3.5 mm at the tips to a commanding 13 × 10.5 mm at the centre, strung across a generous 720 mm length that drapes with a rich, sweeping fluidity. The warm, golden-amber of the Orange colouration is at its most luminous in pieces of this scale: the larger central beads glow with a depth and warmth that smaller beads simply cannot achieve, each one a miniature sun-drenched jewel in its own right. The sterling silver clasp is a fitting, understated finish for a necklace that speaks entirely for itself. In perfect condition with no chips or cracks — a remarkable survival for a 19th century piece of this size and presence. Sourced from a European private collection and authenticated by our 3rd generation antique specialists at Kingdom of Antique Arts, Vienna.
