Attributed by the seller to the 19th century, this Baroque-style collector's piece brings together winged cherubs, stylised aquatic creatures and flowing water motifs in a theatrical composition.

The raised sides unfold in bands of elongated openwork, scrolling ornament and floral garlands. Four polished oval cartouches punctuate the decoration, while a scalloped outer rim gives the tray a lace-like silhouette. The interplay of open spaces and reflective relief makes it particularly engaging as a display piece in a silver collection.

Material: 800 silver, as identified by the seller.

Period: 19th century (1800s), seller's attribution.

Style: Baroque-style ornament.

Weight: 391 g.

Dimensions: approximately 32 × 25 × 5 cm.

Decoration: central cherub relief, pierced borders, floral garlands and oval cartouches.

Condition: The photographs show surface scratches, wear and darker areas within the recessed decoration.
