Art Nouveau three-strand salmon coral necklace
Three graduated strands of salmon-coloured coral create a layered silhouette in this Art Nouveau necklace, dated circa 1900 by the owner. Red thread knots separate the beads, which increase in size towards the front. The 9K gold clasp is decorated with three coral accents and accompanied by a short safety chain.
The repeated strands, warm orange-salmon tones and individual bead shapes make this an appealing piece to wear or include in a collection of turn-of-the-century coral jewellery.
