Three Antique Silver Thimbles with Decorative Borders

A collector’s lot of three decorative silver thimbles, each with a finely dimpled body and an individually patterned lower border. Two have metal domed tops, while the third has a smooth red domed top that adds a striking contrast to the silver.

Floral scrollwork, shield-shaped cartouches and a ribbon-and-flower design distinguish the three pieces. Described by the owner as antique, they offer an appealing small group for collectors of sewing tools and decorative silver.
