Maria Theresa Silver Coin Pendant with Rope-Pattern Bail

A Maria Theresa silver coin pendant with a neatly detailed rope-pattern suspension bail. Its simple construction leaves the coin’s rim exposed, placing the portrait and surrounding inscription at the centre of the design.

The portrait side shows Maria Theresa in profile with the initials S.F. beneath the bust. On the reverse, a crowned double-headed eagle and central shield are surrounded by lettering and the inscribed date 1780. Both faces are visible, making this a distinctive piece for collectors of coin jewellery.
