Maria Theresa Silver Coin Pendant in 925 Silver Mount

A Maria Theresa silver coin pendant framed by a beaded silver mount, bringing together a detailed portrait and an elaborate heraldic reverse. The portrait side shows Maria Theresa in profile, surrounded by lettering and the initials S.F.; the reverse displays a crowned double-headed eagle with a central shield and the date 1780.

Small retaining tabs hold the coin within its decorative frame, while a ridged suspension bail completes the pendant. The coin is described by the owner as 835 silver, and the surrounding mount is stamped 925 silver. These are separate components with different stated finenesses.
