Prezzo di listino €3.500,00
An intricately decorated rectangular box in 900 silver, attributed by the owner to the Art Nouveau period, circa 1900. Its hinged lid features a lively boating scene in relief, with figures gathered aboard a boat beside a timber-framed riverside building, surrounded by trees and finely textured water. A scrolling border frames the composition, while scenes of tavern life decorate the sides.
Brighter raised details contrast with darkened recesses, giving the narrative decoration depth and character. The wooden-lined interior provides a warm contrast to the silver exterior, making this an engaging display piece for a collection of decorative silver.
